Dear Parent/carer,
YEAR 1 - EDUCATIONAL VISIT- Black Country Museum
We are offering your child a place to take part in a visit to Black Country Museum on 08.12.2022.
Your child will leave school at 09.30 and return to school by 3.45pm.
Your child will need to wear school uniform. Your child will need to bring a packed lunch. If your child is entitled to a free school meal a packed lunch will be provided by school.
It is necessary to ask for a voluntary financial contribution if this activity is to take place. The cost per child is £22.50 If the costs of the trip cannot be covered then unfortunately the trip will not go ahead.
Please return the reply slip to the school office or your child’s teacher. You will need to make the payment of your voluntary contribution through the cashless system in the same way you pay for dinner money. You can do this online using a debit card or with a code from the school office via a paypoint in a local shop. Please see the school office for more information on how to do this. In the event that your child is unable to take part we are unable to provide a refund.
All consent forms must be returned to school and payment made by 17.11.2022.
Please understand that while the school staff in charge of the party will take all reasonable care of the children, they cannot necessarily be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered by your child during our out of school activity.
The school is insured against its legal liability to pay compensation should it be held responsible for causing an injury to your child whilst in the care of staff. The school has not arranged any additional insurance in respect of the visit e.g., personal accident. Should you be concerned about this area of risk, you are advised to make your own arrangements.
