Home learning information for Yr3 and Yr6

Dear parents/carers,

I hope you are all well. I am just writing to update you regarding the home learning available for the year 3 and year 6 children while they are off school. 

You should now have received a home learning pack. Thank you to the parents that came to collect these. Please telephone the school office if you still need one. There is enough work in the pack to support your child during the initial days whilst they are at home. 

Alongside this, we will also be using the Microsoft TEAMS app to share some further learning that teachers have prepared and some live sessions and resources. The TEAMS app is free and very simple to use.

You will shortly receive the username and password you need via text message- please let the school know if you have not received this message. There will also be a link to how to use Microsoft Teams. The Parent guide is also attached to this letter. 

We have also set up class emails addresses so that parents and pupils can communicate with the teachers. Teachers will be available between 9.00 – 3.00 each day.

This will be the first time we have used Microsoft TEAMS in this way but we hope you will find it useful during this time.

If you are not able to access any of this remote learning, please contact the school office so we can look to providing further paper packs as needed.
