I am just writing to remind parents about the arrangements for school lunches.
Children up to and including those in Year 2 are entitled to a free school meals under the government’s universal free school meal scheme. However, once they move out of Year 2, they are not automatically entitled to a free school meals any longer.
If you are not sure if you are entitled to free school meals, please carry out an eligibility check – the school office can support with this. This will ensure that those of you who are entitled to free school meals continue to receive them.
If you are not entitled to free school meals, you can pay for a school meal or provide your child with a packed lunch. If you choose to pay for school meals, please ensure that you do so weekly via ParentPay. Again, the school office can help if you are unsure of how to do this.
