RE: Birchfield Big Dig!
I am writing to ask for your support in transforming our garden area into a working allotment for our pupils. Currently, our garden is overgrown and there is very little growing there. I believe this could be a wonderful space for all of our pupils to learn in different areas of the curriculum such as science and art. During a recent ‘Meet the Senior Leaders’ event, several parents expressed an interest in coming to help us dig out our garden, plant flowers etc and some parents wanted to donate flowers/compost etc.
On Friday 22nd November, we would appreciate any parent helpers to come and help us between 8.45 and 10.45. If you are able to help, please could you call and let the office know so we have an idea of numbers. If you are unable to attend but would like to donate garden tools, flowers, seeds or compost etc then please drop these at the office on Thursday 21st November.
