Changes to Penalty Notices Fines for school attendance

Dear Parent/carers,

We wanted to inform you of an upcoming change regarding penalty notice fines for school Attendance.

Under the new national crackdown ALL schools will be required to consider a fine when a child has missed 5 days or more for unauthorised reasons. With the introduction of the new National Framework for Penalty Notices.

The attached changes will come into force for Penalty Notices Fines issued after 19th August 2024 If you have any questions, please contact Mrs Ahmed at the school.
