From 10th to 12th July 2026, our Year 6 pupils enjoyed an unforgettable residential visit to Condover Hall, packed with exciting activities, teamwork and lasting memories.
Following their arrival and induction, pupils wasted no time getting involved, with a huge water fight and a range of outdoor team games. The competitive spirit was certainly on display, with the Birchfield Baddies proving particularly successful in the challenges!
After a well-earned night's sleep, pupils woke to beautiful weather and headed to the lake for kayaking, where they demonstrated resilience, confidence and teamwork. The afternoon brought another exciting challenge as pupils took part in abseiling, pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones and celebrating their achievements together.
The evening was spent watching the England match, which provided plenty of excitement. Pupils enthusiastically cheered along throughout the game, creating a fantastic atmosphere and another special memory to share with friends.
Despite the late night, pupils were ready for more adventure the following day, taking part in archery and a variety of additional team-building challenges before returning home.
It was a brilliant weekend from start to finish, and we returned with tired but very happy children. A huge thank you goes to Mr Aldred and Miss Shakespeare for their dedication and support in ensuring all pupils enjoyed such a magical and memorable residential experience.
