Our pupil leadership group have been working incredibly hard since being appointed to their roles, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved so far.
🎁 Community Donation Drive
Earlier this term, our leaders organised a whole‑school donation drive, requesting essential items such as toiletries as well as small toys and comforts to support families within our community. The response from pupils, families, and staff was truly overwhelming. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we were able to create a fantastic collection of “shoe box” donations, which were distributed to families in need before the holidays.
This project demonstrated not only the compassion of our pupils, but also their commitment to making a meaningful difference beyond the school gates.
🏛️ Visit to the Lord Mayor
On 7th January 2026, our School Councillors were honoured with an invitation to visit the Lord Mayor—an opportunity that came about after they impressed him during his visit to Birchfield back in September.
During their visit, the councillors enjoyed a tour of the Council House, explored its history, and took part in a special Q&A session with the Lord Mayor himself. The pupils represented Birchfield exceptionally well, showcasing their confidence, curiosity, and leadership.
Our pupil leaders continue to demonstrate the values we cherish at Birchfield: responsibility, kindness, and a passion for helping others. We couldn’t be prouder of them and look forward to seeing what they achieve next.
