Dear Birchfield families
We have seen a recent rise in the number of children who are arriving late for school and would very much appreciate your help in getting our children in to school on time so they don’t miss the start of their lessons.
Registration starts at 8:55 and as such the gates will close at this time. The morning routine aims to provide time for families to access the site and for all children to get to class on time. The children know where to go, and in most cases can walk across the playground to their classroom independently where staff are waiting to receive them.
Please can I ask you to help us in this by arriving in plenty of time and allowing older pupils to go to class by themselves. If parents need to speak to a member of staff, we will continue to ensure there are staff outside in the mornings and after school to help.
If your child arrives after 8:55 they must go to the school office to be signed in.
