I am writing to make you aware of a guidance change as of 11.01.22 regarding PCR tests.
Lateral flow tests are used to regularly test for Covid 19 in people who do not have symptoms.
From 11.01.22 Public health have advised that if you have tested and reported a positive LFD result, you do not need a further PCR test to confirm the positive result.
PCR tests are still required for those who have Covid symptoms.
