Dear Parents and Carers,
Following the Prime Minister’s Covid-19 briefing at the weekend, we are writing to share key information based on the government guidance from November 27th.
- Attendance for all pupils of school age remains mandatory. It is essential that you notify us of the reasons for any absence.
- If children are required to isolate, and they are not unwell, they will be expected to continue with their learning as per the remote learning plan.
- Staff will be wearing masks in communal areas of each of our buildings.
- Visitors to school will be required to wear a mask. This does include any parents in the foyer or office areas.
- Classes will not move back into bubbles at this point in time.
- Any planned school events will continue in line with our school risk assessments.
- There is a compulsory 10-day isolation requirement in place for anyone notified as a possible close contact to an Omicron case.
We will continue to keep you updated as to any other changes necessary as further local authority and government guidance is issued.
