Dear Birchfield families
Our children have been nothing short of extraordinary during the course of this pandemic which unfortunately continues to dominate much of all our lives.
As a school we recognise that they have also missed out on a great deal yet throughout it all they have been hardworking, cheerful, positive and resilient. We are extremely proud of them, as I am sure you are.
We know that parents have also missed coming into school, particularly at this time of year. I am very hopeful that we will be able to start welcoming parents back into our school in the new year. This will be reviewed based on the local and national situation at the time.
With all of this in mind, the Birchfield staff team have planned some special activities for the children before they break up on Friday 17th December. Please see details attached.
In order to support us to provide these activities, we are asking for a contribution of £2 per child. If you are able to contribute more, this would be very much appreciated.
Please send your child with their contribution into school to give to their class teacher by 10.12.21.
