COVID-19 Updated guidance for parents

Dear Parents/Carers

First of all, I would like to thank you all for your cooperation with all the changes we have had to make this academic year due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Our children, staff and parents have adapted well. We are constantly reviewing our risk assessments in order to make sure that we keep you, your children and our staff as safe of possible. In light of the national threat level changing from level 3 to 4 yesterday, my senior team and I have decided to change our risk assessments accordingly.

Home learning information for Yr3 and Yr6

Dear parents/carers,

I hope you are all well. I am just writing to update you regarding the home learning available for the year 3 and year 6 children while they are off school.

You should now have received a home learning pack. Thank you to the parents that came to collect these. Please telephone the school office if you still need one. There is enough work in the pack to support your child during the initial days whilst they are at home.

Prince Albert High School virtual open evening

Dear Parents/Carers,

To reflect the ongoing situation with COVID19 and the current restrictions imposed in Birmingham we are writing to inform you that the PA High parent information events due to take place on Thursday 24th September will now take place online.

Whilst this is disappointing as we were hoping to speak with you all face to face, we must ensure as a Trust that we are adhering to all local authority guidance in order to keep everyone safe and well.

Prince Albert High School information event

We understand that you may have lots of questions about PA High and may want to hear more about all that PA High has on offer for your child. As such we felt it important to provide this opportunity in a face to face forum in a safe way. In order that we can deliver the information event safely you will need to book online to attend by following the unique web link provided in the table below. By booking online this will enable us to ensure social distancing by limiting the number of people in attendance for each session. Please note that due to the current restrictions you will only be able to book a maximum of 2 spaces per family.

Dates for your Diary

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we do our very best to try and get things back up and running, I attach some dates for your diary which include non-uniform days and teacher training days too (when school will be closed to ALL pupils.)

Sadly, due to the current Covid-19 situation, dates are subject to change and it is currently extremely difficult to make plans. Some school events that we usually look forward to and celebrate together may not be able to go ahead.
