We know that the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown continues to be felt globally. Many people are facing extremely difficult circumstances because of this, which has resulted in a worrying and anxious time for many people.
In order to continue to support eligible parents and pupils with access to free school meals (FSM) during the February half term, Birmingham City Council have provided a one-off supermarket eVoucher for each eligible pupil in Reception to Year 6. Birmingham City Council have provided these voucher codes which can be redeemed online for a range of supermarkets.

During this current period of school closure, we are now pleased to be able to offer eligible parents and pupils access to free school meals by supplying supermarket eGift cards, that can be spent locally to you. The DfE have funded these eGift cards as part of a national scheme. You will be able to choose which supermarket you would like an eGift card for including Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, Tesco and more.
Eligible families will be receiving their eCode via email w/c 25th January 2021 to provide lunch time meals for three weeks until half term.
